I have a brand new Shigefusa Suminagashi 300mm Yanagiba w/saya for sale. I purhased from EE.com but was given a honyaki from aritsugu by a friend and have decided to just stick to one yanagi and i will be keeping the aritsugu. Attached are pictures of the knife. I am asking for $540.00 shipped in con. US payment preferable thru paypal. This is the amount i paid for the knife plus shipping and considering the scarcity and difficulty in obtaining knives from Shigefusa i think this is a good deal as i am only trying to recoup my cost since the knife is unused at all. Pls look at the pictures. sorry about the quality of the pics but i do not have an appropriate setup to take good pics of knives with th glare and all involved in taking pics. One thing is that on this knife for some reason the very very tip is not pointed but is straight. so the tip area instead of having a pointy tip for the triangle is triangular but the very top maybe 1% or less is straight. so instead of this shape/\ it is this shape /`\. this is only noticable when examining the knife extremely up close. i did not notice this until i was trying to take pics of the knife. it is not a broken tip or anything and whether the knife came that way or might have happened to it when i tested the fit of the saya i do not know but i would estimate it to be less than 1/4cm of length if the very very tip did indeed get squared out. i will be more tha happy to answer any questions. just wanted to mention this before rather than after any potential transaction. i would say that after one sharpening the tip would be pointy again. i tried to take a closeup as well a i could but it is not the clearest image but in the image it can be seen that what i mention is very minute. inquiries can be sent to ms4awd@earthlink.net. Thanks
