My 3 yr-old daughter kept on talking about the movie Monster House even though she's never seen it and well, that means we've never seen it either. Don't know where she got the idea to want to see it but we got it. Great movie. Not sure to what extent but Zemeckis and Spielberg were involved in making this movie.
It's computer generated and not only is it quite tense in spots it does a great job in keeping your attention throughout. The story is quite good and the character interactions are seemless. Roger and Ebert give it two thumbs up and so do I. I just wish I saw it on the big screen.
I highly recommend renting it or if you have kids, buy it. It does get pretty scary in spots but not to the point of scaring the hell out of small kids. My daughter loves to be scared so she loves this movie. She asks to watch it every single day and night. Really...rent or buy it.
