These are my knives, and whatever goes with them.
Most are Global knives that are pretty much 5-10 years old, except for the sharpener and the cheese knife.
Last week I bought the Tojiro Pro Petty F-1030 135mm (bottom left), the Tojiro Pro Gyuto F-1034 270mm (right, third from top) and the Tojiro Pro Santoku F-1036 170mm (above the Petty).

The Global knives I just heard good things about when I moved to Copenhagen to study hence I started buying some of those. I also liked the design of the knives and as I started to use them I found them pretty good - at least they're better than what my parents used to have.
I recently visited a chef (my girlfriend's colleague's boyfriend - did that make sense?) where I saw a sharpening steel and figured out it was about time I bought one. He also told me about this place in Denmark called H.W. Larsen & Sønner that sharpened knives for you so I went there to get my Global knives sharpened, but when I went there I fell for the Tojiro Pro (http://www.hwl.dk/Default.aspx?ID=2745&Purge=True) and bought the Petty and Gyuto.
Then I started reading about knives - typical rather spontaneous of me; buy first read later - and then decided to buy their Santoku and I ordered the Hattori Knife Forums Sujihiki 270mm, which I'm waiting for to get through customs here in Denmark.
I'm still new in the "knife world" as some of you might've already noticed (all the questions), but as I truely enjoy making food, gastronomy and eating great food I'd like to have great tools to prepare it with. Hence I don't think I've bought the last knife :)
In case my image link doesn't work I sincerely hope this link with all my knives (http://bp0.blogger.com/_YqAhwjUA4Qg/Rp9kDgjhaRI/AAAAAAAAAMc/PTOkwKnrEyI/s1600-h/All+knivesa.JPG) work.
