Per Travel Channel.....

Anthony Bourdain is off to Tokyo in search of the relationship between a perfect piece of sushi and a perfect knife blade, the common ground shared by the martial artistry of kendo and the subtle aesthetics of Japanese flower arranging.

HAHAHAH..kendo they say:rolleyes:

They should have said iaido, but I'm not sure Tony could be trusted with a 3' razor blade:D

it will be interesting to see how many people come out with "new" knives after the show airs

The knifemaking/buying section was cool, but definitely underdone.

The sukiyaki chef was awesome! IC Morimoto's stuff was cool, too. Kentucky fried monkfish?

You said the best restaurant. I assumed the best would be McD's. Perhaps I'm wrong.

I'm on the Eastside, but maybe when the US government stops waterboarding our West Coast gourmands with impugnity, you'll get a numerical answer (Bush lied; sushi dried!).
