anyone got recipes for these?
really wanna eat some.
isnt' it marinated tuna and sushi rice?
we should start a game of trying to guess the recipe while asking for recipe for comparison?? i think it'd be fun :p
sushi rice would be cal-rose, cooked, and tossed with rice wine vinegar, sake, a tad of sugar and salt (or you can use mirin).
for fish, i'd soak kompu in dashi, soy, sake mixture, then press fish between kompu to marinate :)

well i emailed someone who has a food blog, and asked her to research it for me on japanese sites and she came up with this.
1:1:1 ratio of sake mirin shyoyu
1:1:2 ratio also.
and i thought sushi rice was short grain sticky?
and calrose was a medium grain?
calr0se is sh0rt grain. any sh0rt grain starchy rice w0rk. there are t00 many varieties 0f sh0rt grain rice and they're really all practically the same. pearled rice c00k up better :)
sticky/sweet rice are t0tally different th0ugh. they c00k up chewy, sticky, and gelaten0us.
