I just was given a bar of Bacon Chocolate. This by far the weirdest contraption I have eaten in years. Lil chunks of Bacon mixed in to a chocolate bar...

It was VERY different. I am not sure if i liked it but it was salty and that went well with the chocolate but it was fallowed with a smoky hickory flavor. Defintly unique

A few weeks ago in Germany I picked up some handmade chocolate from an Austrian company (Zotter). I have not yet dared trying it. The flavors are 'hemp and mocca', swiss mountain cheese, walnuts and raisins', 'saffron rice and ginger', 'beer', and 'avocado and clmentine yoghurt'. I'm scared...

I have been really tempted to buy some bacon chocolate from the Central Market (similar to Whole Foods). This must might be the push I needed. They also have several different flavors, I don't remember them off the top of my head.

i enjoy bacon chocolate
a company called vosges has applewood smoked bacon, alder smoked salt in a darker milk chocolate that is pretty tasty and rather easy to find.
i like to buy bacon and seek out different types thus far i tend to prefer applewood smoked or corn cob smoked to all others. although liking one artisan style bacon more then another is really splitting hairs.
