What are your thoughts on the JFK aogami super gyuto?

Is that one of the Cocobolo FH Knives? Do you think it looks better than the normal linen micarta handles?

Steven, yes it is one of the Cocobolo handles FH knives. I have always hated black handled knives, so in that respect, yes definately looks better and I think it has more character. The only issue with mine is I live in a very dry climate, and despite Cocobolo being resistant to shrinking, mine shrank. It is probably the next in line for a rehandle.

What are your thoughts on the JFK aogami super gyuto?

stereo, I am actually not a fan, it is my least used knife. Pretty chippy and I don't like the cladding because it is substiantially more reactive than the core. It is a pretty flat profile, dang near santoku, I like my knives with a little more curve.
I have contemplated selling it numerous times except that I attempted to round the spine with some files, did a poor job and left some deep gouges.
