    Default nubatama bamboo 8000 stone

Photo_00001.jpgPhoto_00002.jpgPhoto_00005.jpgi recieved my 4x4 piece Photo_00004.jpgof nubatama bamboo 8k today, at first i was a little worried due to the amount of swarf that was coming off but than i realized it was my knife not the stone for my knife was dull. i after have tested this on a wasabi knife and turned it into a completly different knife and thats hard for me to say because i thought i already had the magic combo on that knife. the next knife was a spyderco vg 10 and it absolutly obliterated the edge i had, it was already razor sharp before i tried buy useing a razors edge fine stone which i thought there was non better for a vg 10 spyderco, after that i moved onto a richmond artifex and within 10 mins is was hearing burrs pop off like nuts falling on a tin roof it was amazing, i would of loved to have tried on some cpm154 since i do so much of it with the addict 2 and the remedy but worked with what i had and sharpended a 9 inch knife with a 4 inch stone. As soon as i get a bigger one i will continue the review but this is a fact, i have been useing shapton 8k pros and gs's i have used snow white 8k's i have even used naniwa 8'k and god help me one of my personal favorites a norton 8k and the nubatama will whipp their butts hands down without even breaking a sweat and i dont usually give reviews because a few think i am bias but i know when to put the fork down and when i see something of this magnatitude it needs to be talked about in length. basically no matter what i threw at it felt like butter in my hand best feedback i have ever felt. peace to all jmbullman

I splashed and went, I flattened it first and it took the glaze off it, the more I used it the better it got I like I said am a shapton pro nut followed by the gs series and after I get some of these hospital bills paid down hopefull I can afford a full size one, as a few of you know I do alot I mean alot of cpm154 and the stone was just 2 small for me to try the new Richmond addict 2 on it. My birthday is coming up so who knows, but I am alive by the grace of god so anything I do is just icing on the cake. I will be trying out other nubatama chunks when they become available. I have been getting pm's on how it compairs to the gesshin and I cant comment because I have never tried one, can't afford it rite now. Peace to all, jmbullman
