All the scales and Wa handles come out of this 1 piece of stabilized buckeye burl - this is the actual piece I bought:

    Nice chunk of Cal, Buckeye!
Do you know who Stabilized it? I get my woods done at two different suppliers only.
Lots of people/places do it now, Only two that are professionally consistent in the USA in my experience.

I live in California and Cal Buckeye still costs a fortune! LOL!
Did You purchase that in S.A.? Or have it shipped in?

Kind of looks like he got it from Woodstabilizer.com out of Canada, based on the picture.

    I guess so!
I was so focused on the piece buckeye I didn't even see that! LOL.
I have what I call Tunnel Focus. When I am working on one of my knives, every once in a while I've had people have to almost yell at me to snap out of it!

    Nice looking Buckeye.
