Default Terrible pics of a terrific petty

Rottman; forever famous for cracking the code of A-series gokinko; made an amazing petty:

    TA-DA!

Does that spine make my porkpie fingers look even fatter?

Close up proving knife isn't actually two-dimensional.

The back of the petty is flat and all that.

The only specs I have are that it's a petty made by Rottman from O7 tool steel, hardened to RC64.5 with I think it was a 130mm cutting edge and 1.5mm thick spine.

Right side flat, left one convex? How is the edge?

Right side flat going to a convexed edge and left side flat with a huge, convexed bevel/shinogi going to a convexed edge.

The initial edge was breath-takingly sharp. After I did terrible things to it, it wasn't as sharp, but cut better.

The spine shots used the macro setting... Anyway, the knife is either in California, USA; involved in some sort of pass-around for people who can handle the hot glow of electrifying brilliance, or back home to Germany (probably somewhere in Baden-Württemberg).

I thought we were supposed to keep his identity secret like we do for the Scarlet Pimpernel.
