This yanagi is from Kikuichi's budget Tatsutogi line. It is hand forged kasumi construction with a hagane of SK carbon steel and an iron jigane. By the way, my experience with this steel is very positive. It is quite hard. It has a 300mm blade, ho wood handle and buffalo horn ferrule. It includes the saya as pictured.

This knife was returned by a customer. The customer attempted to apply a togidashi edge to the blade but gave up fairly quickly. Togidashi takes a long time. The blade still has its original edge but it now has diagonal scratches on the outside bevel. The rest of the knife is pristine. If you decide to apply togidashi to it, it will be exactly like a new knife with a togidashi edge. If you don't then you'll have to live with some scratches or you can grind and polish them out. The blade has no discoloration. It has never been used. So lets call it a really nice fixer upper.
