This knife is brand new but has a problem and you can see it in the gap between the ferrule and the wood handle. What happened was that the maker was sloppy and tightened the handle with ferrule crooked as you see it. Fixing it requires prying back ends of the tang, straightening the ferrule and then hammering the ends of the tang again. Or, you can use it the way it is. It looks funny but works fine.
The knife has a 9" blade, Japanese oak handle and steel ferrule. It is shiroko (white steel) kasumi construction. Yours for $170 including shipping.
