    I just took the Sous Chef job here http://www.cascadiarestaurant.com/html/
    I was a line cook for them a while back and really loved the kitchen. I it the slickest most well designed kitchen I've ever worked in. It's french island style range with a horse shoe counter pass all the way around. THe whole pass in lined with electrical outlets under the counter so you can plug in any where. The heat lamps are retractable and each stations garbage can is tucked unthe counter with a hole cut in it for a trach shoot. Ahhh..heaven.

    Congratulations Brandon, that place looks great. I like the philosophy (based on what I can read in the menu and the listed references) and the menu looks tempting enough to hop over the pond and come visit someday... Hope you'll have a lot of fun working there. Now, what new knives do you need?

    Congratulations Brandon, it looks like a really great place to work at and it sounds like the kitchen is fantastic.
    The web site is great. The walking tours looked like a ton of fun and the min burgers and mini burger car are really cute.
