    Repeat after me: Japanese knives may not be used on pumpkins......

    Why?

    What do you think they use in Japenese kitchens to create decorative food carvings?

    Well most Japanese knives would chip in the process of cutting a Pumpkin if they were used wrong at all. But I used a Kyocera Utility knife to cut the top open then I used a Exato and a Spoon to do the rest.
