    Default How do you make Cannolli Shells?

    Like the name of the thread asks, does anyone know how to make cannolli shells?

    you need a ring mold or cannolli mold. it looks like a tube, you roll the batter around it and fry it. then slide the mold out

    Thats a good tip KC, but how do you make the batter? I know you probably want to get me kicked off of this forum for asking questions like this, but I'm learning so much and having so much fun (and if you met me you wouldn't think I'm a guy who be fun seeking here).

    That depends on whos grandmother you ask...
    Shells

    2 cups AP
    1/4 cinnamon
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1 tablespon unsweetened cocoa powder
    2 tablespoons unsalted butter or lard
    6 tablespoons marsala

    Fry them in lard or oil around 350 one at a time and remove them from the rollers while hot or they wont come off.
