Its 300mm w/ Desert Ironwood and some type of burl on either end.
The Carter has a Hawaiian Autograph Tree handle with Desert Ironwood Furrle.

Very nice collection, thanks for the pics. I think the light wood on the yanagi is maple burl, but my brain isn't working all that well these days...

It is curly koa with figured AZ desert ironwood, if I remember correctly.

Wow Tim, that thing looks like it hasn't been used. Ha Ha.

It came to me in really good shape, been trying to keep it nice and shiny. . I love it even though it doesn't get much use. I only really use it when I get a nice hunk of Ahi which has been hard to find at a reasonable price lately.

That's right, the curly Koa rings a bell but I wasn't 100% sure. It looks alot better in person.

See, my brain is fading, I didn't even remember it was koa Real nice koa is so difficult to photograph, I think it would be much more popular if people could see it in person. Clearly one of the most beautiful woods.

Anyway, I like that this is such an eclectic collection with knives that complement each other very well.
