    Default My New Funayuki

I do not know how many of you knows the custom knife craftsman by the brand 大祐 (Daisuke).

    His homepage is here:
    http://dai-knives.com/

In his blog here http://blog.dai-knives.com/ he had a mirror finished blue super Funayuki 155mm with custom handle which I must have it.

This knife is coming to me soon.

Will post some pictures when it arrive.

BTW this craftsman makes hand made custom knives and kitchen knives and the prices are not so expensive because he is young and still learning.
Recently he tries to make all hand forged blue super kitchen knives (cladded) .

    DrNaka,
I looked at his knives and they look nice. Is the handle in this funayuki painted and lacquered?

The paint is made by his brother who is a lure maker.

I think it is air-brush paint. (hope that is the English term but I am not sure)

Mmm... what a pretty handle... Aren't those colours just amazing? Wow.

Strange compulsion to touch it and buy it...

You cannot touch it but some custom made kitchen knives pictures from his blog.

He hand forge them, make handle and saya.

He has talent to design the custom made kitchen knives too.
