Did we ever get the results of the steel composition and HRC testing done on Rottman's Aritsugu A type?

You will when I get the knife back. Haven't heard back yet even though it's a bit longer than the estimated 2 weeks. If testing is done for free I'm not the one to start complaining after 3 or 4 weeks. Ah, reminds me of asking Achim/test-coordinator for some SB1.

Update: no update. The laboratory had some problems so all tests are jammed up and delayed. It will take another while to get it done.

let me quote the Ramones: Second verse, same as the first.
Haven't heard anything new myself since around mid April. It's a bit sucky, I know, I didn't even had time to play extensively with the A-type myself. First it went off for a little thinning and regrinding for a lefty to Jürgen Schanz pretty much right after I got it and then off to the steel test. Can't wait to get it back myself to play and built a new handle.
