I like the birki gardening clogs, they're waterproof, light and easy to clean. You do have to keep the grease off of them as they will brittle and are prone to crack.

yea i also hate clogs because i constantly feel like they are going to slip off my feet i need a shoe that encases my heel and i also hate laces i havent bought a pair of shoes with laces in 2+ years eventually i think i may forget how to tie a shoelace and that is fine with me.

The keen ptc's i bought are really oustanding and i would recommend them to anybody who is looking for a good kitchen shoe. Lightweight, waterproof leather upper and oil/slipresistant outsole, although i do lose traction maybe once every other day on something really slippery. THey have memory foam inserts that are super comfortable and i can say without a doubt are the best shoes i have owned so far over dansko, clarks any sort of skechers and grabbers or whatever the hell they gave us in culinary school.

    Default Hytest

I swear by these Hytest Opanka slipons. http://www.michiganshoe.com/browse.cfm/4,206.html

The inside lining wears out for me in about 12-18 months. After that amount of time the sole and outside still looks presentable enough to wear even if I wanted to go out.

Each time I need to buy a new pair of work shoes.. I try some options that people suggest and none seem to compare. I am on my 3rd pair. So, when this pair wears out I will try on some other options and see if I can find something better. If not, then I will happily buy these again.
